I graduated from The College of New Jersey with my Bachelors of Science degree in Health and Exercise Science and continued on with my schooling to eventually receive my clinical doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from the University of New England in 2012.
I’ve worked in orthopedics and sports, focusing on the post-surgical population, chronic injuries, and sports injuries in collegiate athletes for the last 10 years and find immense satisfaction in helping these populations feel better and perform their best. I am a firm believer in the American College of Sports Medicine program Exercise is Medicine and utilize this method to help people move better, feel better, and function better, no matter their current physical conditioning status.
I have always enjoyed playing sports, though joke around that I am the clumsiest physical therapist out there. In 2012 I decided to run a 10k road race, just two months after breaking a bone in my left foot. The race was in Honolulu, Hawaii and I was hooked. Since then I have run many races from 5k to marathon distances, and have done a few duathlons and sprint triathlons.
When I am not out becoming geographically lost during one of my many long runs, I spend time with my husband Steve and our two girls, Aurora and Emily. I additionally split my professional time at another location and find enjoyment in woodworking, vegetable gardening, hiking, paddle boarding, and taking naps.
